Hello
everyone! My name is Ivana Rossi and as you certainly thought I'm a
lover of any kind of art, particularly of the painting, which attracted
me until I was a baby. Unfortunately I have had to build my art culture
myself, mainly, so for me it has been very useful to learn the several
technics of drawing and painting attempting to copy the masterpieces of
the great painters of the past: and today in this Internet site I'm able,
at last, to show you this my big love for them, followed also from some
of my further unpublished creations.
I
would resume some data on myself, although the detailed information can
be read in my Biography section: I was born in Pontinia - Latina, just
about 90 Km south of Rome, but I live in the italian capital by now
since about 20 years. As I stated above I always been loved with the
painting, mainly with the portraits making use either of 'living'
people or magazine pictures. Frankly speaking I never had a real
artistic school training because I studied for accountancy: so any my
artistic skilling has been acquired by the use of drawing and painting
manuals, and this is the reason I think my real teachers have been,
although indirectly, the great painters of the past, mainly the artists
of the Italian Renaissance. Because is my opinion that only attempting
to understand the arts and the several skills of them that the necessary
artistic level of professional growth could be achieved, and finally
acquire a personal ways in order to be able to continue with the own
features.
Unfortunately
I always suffered of serious health problems with my back and this is
the reason I couldn't attend any school of painting until now. Further
this is the reason because I can spend only few hours a week with this
my 'hobby', nevertheless I'm very happy of the results I get them. But
in the next future I'd like to try to follow some multimedia painting
courses.
Anyway
it's a great satisfaction to be able 'to watch' at own home the copies
of the pictures I always loved, as it's not possible... to buy them,
obviously.
Thank
you for your interesting in my works. |
